The Brief

To source and select student furniture for 3 modern student accommodation blocks at the University of Sussex’s Falmer Campus, housing 260 students, but also furnishing to a high enough quality to appeal to visiting academics and dignitaries as a comfortable hotel alternative in Brighton’s city centre.

Our Solution

Sourcing and selecting all student bedroom furniture including; beds, mattresses, bedside storage units, dining room furniture and soft seating, plus back-office desks and chairs for administrative staff. We also supplied student settees, in fabric specifically chosen because it was machine washable and met strict Flame Retardancy Standards.

Once products and the architect’s fabrics and finishes were selected, we project managed the entire procurement, delivery and installation, working closely with the main contractor. Ensuring shortlisted products were assessed by the University’s architects and signed off by procurement.
